Ignite Group is the parent company of specialist businesses in live event production and broadcast. It is founded and led by Sanjeev Desour, and based in Watford, Hertfordshire.

The founder

Sanjeev has led IGNITE since 2007. For nearly two decades he has delivered production for conferences, seminars and corporate events across the UK and Europe, for demanding clients and some of the world's best-known speakers. Our production teams have delivered live events featuring two US presidents, a former UK prime minister, Sir Richard Branson and Lord Sugar.

Alongside running his own companies, Sanjeev has founded, built and advised event businesses throughout his career. He knows what it takes to build a reputation in this industry, and what it means to hand that reputation on.

The group today

• IGNITE Events: sound, lighting, staging and LED for conferences, seminars and corporate events across the UK and Europe.
• IGNITE Studios: a premium broadcast stage and a webinar and interview studio in Watford for virtual and hybrid events.
• White Label AV: production capacity for agencies and production companies, delivered discreetly under their brand.

We operate from our own warehouse and broadcast studio in Watford, and we deliver events across Europe regularly.

Why we acquire

Many of the best production companies in the UK and Europe were built by founders who are now thinking about what comes next. Too often the options are a sale to someone who does not understand the business, or a slow wind-down. We offer a third route: a buyer from inside the industry who wants to keep the team, the clients and the name, and to give them a larger group to grow inside.
